Waste Water Generated During Milking

Another issue addressed at farms is waste water generated during milking. Here two concrete storage tanks are used to gather the waste. Waste usually consists of milk, milk fat, mild detergents, lots of water and some mud/manure. The tank on the far side is to settle out solids. These can be pumped out periodically and disposed of. The second tank is to collect the liquid waste.
