After careful consideration of the farmer’s needs, a larger cement heavy use and feeding area is installed complete with the necessary fencing and gates to paddock off the heifers into seperate areas at a time to limit stress on one area at one time. To address the barnyard runoff, gutters were installed on the barn roof and drain lines were run out to “clean” vegetated areas where the water could be handled.
