This stream dramatically depicts the massive effect rushing water can have on stream banks. With very little vegetation due to grazing cows, streams easily erode away, undercutting when water flows are increased. Eventually when stream flows re-establish themselves to their normal flow, sediment drops out of the stream in areas causing clogged culverts and other such things.
