Accessing Water From a Well

Accessing Water From a Well

Here a pressure system is installed accessing water from a well. The water is run to a hydrant, and then a garden hose or plastic pipe transports water from the hydrant to the location of the trough. This allows trough location to change from time to time, relieving the distress animals can place on vegetation in that area. On average, a beef cow pair requires 12 to 20 gallons of water per day, where a beef stocker requires 6 to 14, horses 8 to 14, and sheep/goats 2 to 3 gallons.
