2025 Crawford County Conservation District Annual Dinner
The CCCD’s Annual Dinner Meeting was Thursday, February 20, 2025, at the Kelly Ballroom in Cambridge Springs.
PA DCNR Assistant District Forester, Scott Rimpa, gave the feature presentation: “The Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) in NW Pennsylvania.”
Awards & Citations (see photos) were given to:
“Conservation Farmer of the Year Award”: Denny Hindman for Bonny Bell Farm – Hindman Cattle–presented by Jody Lasko, Supervisory District Conservationist, NRCS.
Dirt, Gravel and Low Volume Roads Municipal Awards were awarded to: Athens Township, Oil Creek Township, Rockdale Township, Summit Township and Wayne Township by Hanna McGill, District DGLVR Conservation Technician.
“Forest Conservation & Stewardship Award” was presented to Andy Kosmach by Mark Lewis, DCNR Service Forester.
“Conservation Educator of the Year”: NW PA Fish & Boat Commission Northwest Region Outreach and Education Coordinator Jessica Rohrdanz, presented by CCCD Environmental Education Specialist Kathy Uglow.
“Congratulations” to all the award winners and “thank you” for all you do to promote good conservation practices in Crawford County.
