The Team Hellbender Project was created by the Crawford County Conservation District and Meadville Tribune for kids of all ages! Visitors to the Team Hellbender project will be able to explore local environmental issues, learn more about our ecosystems, and even try their luck at a few conservation quizzes. Each of the six topics listed below are designed to give you a fun learning experience as well as background information on "Hot" conservation topics facing Crawford County residents. Many of the articles offer easy solutions and tips anyone can follow to make small changes in their lives. Remember the words of J.R.R. Tolkien "Even the longest journey starts with the first step". One small step in your life can make a dramatic change in our environment.
